## About the role

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel – Commercial Transactions to join our diverse, customer-focused Commercial Legal team! As Senior Corporate Counsel, you will report to the VP & Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Legal, and will partner with PagerDuty’s go-to-market teams as a trusted advisor on commercial transactions. **This role will be required to be in office 2 days a week in our San Francisco office**

## What they're looking for

- Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school, admitted to and in good standing with California or other State Bar Association
- At least 9 years of broad-based technology transactional experience across multiple business lines and jurisdictions, and understanding of key domestic and international regulatory requirements in the SaaS and AI space
- Experience collaborating with other cross-functional teams supporting Sales, communicating and explaining business risks, and drafting language to reflect business stakeholder approvals and feedback
- Highly responsive with a service-oriented attitude. Expertise in balancing risk, and other legal requirements to safeguard PagerDuty’s interests/values, while ensuring revenue efforts are fully supported
- Collaborative teammate with the ability to work independently, drive results, and maintain a professional and calm demeanor
