## About the role

An engineering background, with fluency in one or more languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Scala). You're comfortable exploring and navigating a production codebase—ours is primarily React, Scala, and Python. Strong hands-on debugging instincts: you can read logs, write SQL, inspect data pipelines, and reproduce issues with API calls to isolate the root cause.

## What they're looking for

- Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or another money-movement domain—familiarity with concepts like ledgering and reconciliation is a plus
