## About the role

The Head of Communications will build and lead Paxos’ communications strategy across executive, corporate, policy, internal and product communications. This leader will own how Paxos shows up with the media, regulators, partners, and employees, re-establishing our presence in key conversations while supporting a highly regulated, global business.

## What they're looking for

- Direct experience in crypto-native companies (e.g., Coinbase, Circle) where you helped build a strong brand and media footprint
- Prior work closely tied to regulatory or policy communications, especially in Washington DC or other major regulatory hubs
- Experience building or significantly scaling a comms function, including hiring and managing internal teams and agencies
- Background in payments, fintech, or TradFi with strong connectivity into finance reporters and publications that cover both finance and crypto beats
