## About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Legal team and support in commercial contracting and development of Payscale's privacy, data, and AI strategy. In this role, you'll drive compliance with evolving global laws in the tech space, advising on product and business initiatives with regulatory implications and helping to build and maintain trust with our customers and partners.

## What they're looking for

- J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. state
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, the EU AI Act, and other U.S. and international laws applicable to privacy, data security, and AI
- Experience advising SaaS, data analytics, or technology companies on regulatory compliance matters, with a focus on privacy, data security, and AI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance for business audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
