## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of experience as an engineering, mechanical, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial technician working directly with complex equipment
- Strong TIG welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to produce reliable tooling, repairs, and equipment modifications
- Demonstrated experience assembling, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical or electromechanical systems in an industrial, manufacturing, pilot-plant, or R&D environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to diagnose failures using equipment behavior, physical evidence, process information, and incomplete data
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, fabrication drawings, equipment documentation, and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment such as machine tools, pumps, motors, piping systems, rigging, seals, furnaces, vessels, or material-handling systems
