## About the role

Pivotal Health is building its Government Affairs function from the ground up.This role is the team’s first dedicated hire joining our General Counsel & Chief Government Affairs Officer. Today, the work spans a broad range of active work streams with external affairs and publicity partners, provider coalitions, federal agencies, members of Congress, and congressional staff.

## What they're looking for

- 5–7 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field
- Federal-level government affairs or public policy experience, including direct work with federal agencies and healthcare policy
- Direct experience engaging members of Congress or congressional staff
- A track record of developing and advocating for a clear point of view
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with comfort leading meetings across varied seniority levels
- Ability to read, evaluate, and compare the strength of economic and epidemiological research
