## About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Technician to join our growing Food Safety & Quality team. In this hands-on role, you will help ensure that raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products consistently meet Plantible Foods’ food safety, quality, and product specification requirements.

## What they're looking for

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline preferred
- Previous experience in a laboratory, QA/QC, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment preferred, relevant academic laboratory, internship, or co-op experience may also be considered
- Familiarity with laboratory testing, sample preparation, analytical calculations, dilutions, and accurate data recording
- Experience with spectrophotometers, pH meters, analytical balances, moisture testing, or similar laboratory instrumentation is a huge plus
- Basic understanding of GMPs, HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and contamination control, training will be provided as needed
- Basic knowledge of microbiology and environmental monitoring is preferred
