## About the role

As a Cloud Efficiency Architect, you'll work directly with PointFive's largest enterprise customers on strategic cost and efficiency engagements, owning the strategic relationship for a portfolio of accounts based mainly in NAM. You'll also build our professional services offering from the ground up, defining what we sell, how it's packaged, and how it's delivered. You'll run the first engagements yourself before scaling them with software, automation, and a team.

## What they're looking for

- 7+ years of enterprise experience focused on cloud cost and efficiency, either in a technical FinOps role or in cloud engineering/architecture
- Background in engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps, with the hands-on ability to build and ship custom applications, automations, and agentic workflows, not just direct others to build them
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks cost models, billing/usage data, and architecture-driven optimization
- Working knowledge of AI/LLM cost management and token spend optimization, an emerging discipline with few established playbooks
- Experience identifying and remediating cloud inefficiencies beyond the obvious
- Experience delivering professional services or advisory engagements, managing several customer engagements simultaneously
