## About the role

As a Senior Specialist Quality Assurance - Backend, you will build and maintain end-to-end quality automation for Rothera’s core Exchange, Clearing, and Instrument Management systems. You will execute our testing strategy, contribute to our automation standards, and collaborate with Engineering and Product partners to ensure our platform meets the high reliability and compliance standards required for our CFTC-regulated environment.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance or software testing role, with a proven track record in complex financial systems
- Strong Proficiency in Java, Python, FIX, SQL
- Experience with testing tools such as Cucumber, Playwright and JUnit and familiar with test reporting and analysis
- Experience with derivative contracts (futures, options) and financial markets is preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical direction and simplify complex quality concepts for non-technical leadership
