## About the role

Are you a privacy attorney who thrives at the intersection of emerging technology and global regulation? Axon is looking for its second ever dedicated Privacy & AI Counsel to join our Legal team, reporting to our VP of Legal Product & Innovation.

## What they're looking for

- JD , admission to and in good standing with at least one US state bar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing privacy or data protection law, ideally advising on technology, SaaS businesses, or AI-related products in highly regulated industries
- Experience advising on privacy regulations globally (e.g., GDPR, US state privacy laws, PIPEDA, Australia’s Privacy Act, LGPD)
- Expertise advising on and implementing enterprise privacy via cross-border transfer mechanisms, intra-group data transfer agreements, and DPA drafting and review
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, distill complexity, and work collaboratively across teams while always upholding Axon’s Win Right value
- Fluency and comfort applying AI tools, prompts, and agents to accelerate and improve operations
