## What they're looking for

- 5-7 years in lifecycle, CRM, retention or growth marketing at a product-led / self-serve company , with a track record of moving activation, retention or expansion metrics (not just sending campaigns)
- Prior contract, consulting or agency experience, or a clear record of delivering scoped work independently to a deadline
- Hands-on ownership of lifecycle programmes for a freemium, free-trial or pay-as-you-go funnel
- Strong experience with email/CRM platforms (HubSpot or equivalent) and in-product messaging tools (Pendo, Appcues, Intercom, Braze, Customer.io , Iterable or similar)
- Experience defining activation, building behavioural segments and triggers, and using product usage data to drive messaging
- Analytical fluency: cohort analysis, activation and retention curves, funnel conversion, LTV. You can run your own analysis in HubSpot/Hex or equivalent without a data team
