## About the role

Pronto is seeking a seasoned mining professional to lead our on-site deployments. As the Field Operations Manager, you will be the bridge between Pronto’s cutting-edge technology and the customer’s day-to-day mining operations. You will be responsible for managing a high-performing technical team, ensuring the customer meets their infrastructure commitments, and delivering the project according to strict performance and safety criteria.

## What they're looking for

- Mining Expertise: 15+ years of direct mining experience. You must be extremely comfortable and knowledgeable in a mine site environment, understanding the nuances of production and safety
- Leadership Tenure: 5–10 years in a leadership role (e.g., Site Superintendent, Maintenance Manager, or Fleet Manager)
- Tech Rollout Experience: Proven track record of actively participating in technology rollouts, such as autonomy, remote operations, telematics, or machine control systems
- Education: A University Degree in Mining Engineering is required to establish immediate credibility with customer stakeholders
- Ability to traverse rugged mine sites and work in extreme environmental conditions
- Compliance with all site-specific health and safety requirements, including medical clearances
