## About the role

As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll contribute to the backend systems that power Prophet’s platform. Working alongside experienced engineers and experts in product, machine learning, and cybersecurity, you’ll help build services that ingest, process, and reason over large volumes of security data. You’ll write production code, participate in technical design, receive mentorship from experienced engineers, and take meaningful ownership of a project from development through deployment.

## What they're looking for

- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date in 2027
- Experience with one or more relevant programming languages, such as Python or Go, through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects
- Understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, including data structures, algorithms, testing, and system design
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and learn in a fast-moving environment
