## About the role

At quip, we design and deliver delightful products and services to keep all mouths healthy. We are looking for a Director of Accounting , who will lead our accounting team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, inventory accounting, treasury, compliance, and tax management. This role ensures the integrity of financial statements, manages the annual audit process, and leads initiatives to improve financial processes and internal controls.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA preferred
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience managing financial audits
- Direct experience with Shopify and Avalara is required
- Experience leading treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and bank relations
- Expertise in multi-state sales tax compliance and tax reporting requirements
