## About the role

As the Lead Data Scientist on Monetization, you won’t just analyze data or surface insights—you’ll have end-to-end ownership alongside Product and Engineering. You’ll use data to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, design experiments, and help shape the solutions we build. You’ll also have the opportunity to build models, work directly with engineers to productionize them, and see their impact on learners and the business in real time.

## What they're looking for

- 6+ years of experience in data science at a consumer internet or subscription/ads-driven company, including demonstrated Staff-level scope and impact
- Deep experience with A/B testing and pricing/paywall experimentation, and using statistical techniques for modeling and predicting user and revenue behavior
- Proven track record owning monetization strategy (subscriptions, ads, or growth) end-to-end, from analysis to leadership recommendation
- Experience using Airflow to build resilient ETLs, dashboards, and revenue-reconciliation pipelines that the business relies on to close the books
- Advanced SQL skills (window functions, sub-queries, etc.) and comfort partnering directly with Data Engineering on pipeline design
- Experience with dbt
