## About the role

We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will be a key owner of the company’s core accounting operations, including the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll and benefits accounting, accounts payable and spend management, inter-company activity, audit support, tax compliance support, and process documentation.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on ownership of significant portions of the month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and the ability to analyze financial statements and general ledger activity for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate accounting treatment
- Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, rollforwards, and well-supported accounting schedules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive issues through resolution
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including experience working with large datasets, lookup and aggregation formulas, and building reliable supporting schedules
