## About the role

Be Global: Spend significant time, in person, in each market you launch. Be Autonomous: Own a market launch end to end, from the point the entry decision is made to the point the business runs without you.

## What they're looking for

- Background: roughly 6 to 10 years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity operations, or an operating role in a regulated fintech or payments business
- Communication skills: you can independently write high-quality formal documents, and represent Rain in high-stakes meetings (e.g., with regulators, investors, partners, customers…)
- Business and tech acumen: can work through complexity across different workstreams (e.g., pricing, tech, legal, compliance) identifying what matters in a context full of noise
- Project management experience: you have driven complex projects to completion, particularly when task owners don’t directly report to you
- Practicality and effectiveness: you get things done quickly despite challenges, and are able to deliver a high amount of output when required
- Intellectual curiosity: you are eager to go deep into technical topics, particularly when the response is not obvious
