## About the role

You run engineering day to day: delivery, reliability, and the technical bar of everything we ship. Rebill processes real money across six markets on its own infrastructure. Event-driven microservices on a message bus, Kubernetes across Azure and AWS, infrastructure as code, and smart routing across a different set of local acquirers in every country. Card data lives in an isolated, tokenized environment.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years as a software engineer building payments, banking, or financial infrastructure that moves real money. This is a hard requirement
- You come from payments: acquiring, processing, ledgers, reconciliation, or a fintech moving real transactional volume. Not a company that happened to charge cards
- Hands-on. You still write and review code, and you are the person who goes into the incident, not the one who asks for the postmortem
- You have worked with external engineering partners or agencies and can describe what you did to make that model work
- Distributed systems in production: event-driven architectures, queues, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code
- Fluent English and Spanish. Our acquirers, auditors, and merchants do not share one language
