## About the role

As an Executive Director in Corporate Strategy & Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in defining Recursion’s competitive and commercial position and turn that understanding into a strategy that shapes pipeline prioritization, partnership decisions, and long-range growth. You will leverage competitive & commercial insights to be a principal architect of Recursion’s strategic choices, sharpening our BD focus and maximizing the potential for both scientific and commercial impact.

## What they're looking for

- Advanced degree in a scientific, quantitative, business, or related field required, MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent strongly preferred
- Deep command of the drug development landscape, including therapeutic area dynamics, clinical-stage competitive assessments, regulatory strategy, and market access considerations
- Proven track record building and delivering commercial assessments and strategic analyses that have directly influenced high-stakes decisions: pipeline prioritization, partnership strategy, go/no-go investments
- Experience with AI-enabled drug discovery or platform biotechs is an advantage, as is an ability to translate complex platform capabilities into compelling commercial and competitive narratives
- Experience partnering on or advising business development transactions (licensing, co-development, M&A) in a competitive intelligence or strategic context
- Strong financial and analytical acumen: able to build, own, and critically challenge commercial models, scenario analyses, and valuation frameworks
