## What they're looking for

- 2+ years of experience building and managing engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Engineering Manager building and operating large-scale distributed systems or platform services
- Hands-on experience with highly available, low-latency services and operational excellence practices
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, data storage, streaming or messaging systems, and observability tooling
- Experience setting technical direction for platform teams and balancing consistency, extensibility, and team autonomy
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, innovative, results-oriented, biased towards action in fast-paced environments
