## About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of parts of the structural and mechanical design of the ENOS vehicle. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and testing of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and hardware that must survive launch, on-orbit operations, and controlled atmospheric reentry. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role where you will guide subsystem integration, mentor junior engineers, and help define Reditus Space’s hardware development practices.

## What they're looking for

- B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
- Proficiency in CAD (OnShape) and structural FEA (ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with metallic and/or composite aerospace structures
- Hands-on experience with hardware development from concept through test
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, thermal environments, and verification methods
