## About the role

The Electrical Engineering Associate, Energy Storage supports Redwood's next-generation Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) program by performing hands-on technical tasks. This is a fully on-site role at 2800 Lockheed Way, Carson City. You will perform a broad variety of hands-on technical tasks in support of Redwood’s next-generation Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). ## What they're looking for

- Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent military/technical training)
- Relevant coursework or certification in electronics fundamentals, circuit theory, or digital/analog systems
- Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and basic PCB layouts
- Familiarity with hand soldering (THT and SMT) to IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001 workmanship standards, or willingness to be certified
- Basic proficiency with lab equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply, function generator
- Comfortable with basic hand tools and ESD-safe handling practices, as well as machinery and power equipment
