## About the role

In response to our fast growth, we're looking for a Product Engineer to help reinvent how RELEX builds and ships forecasting models. As a team, we own forecasting end to end for our retail and wholesale customers — both the new plugin-based models we're building and the models already running in production. We're reinventing how RELEX builds and ships forecasting, moving from a small number of monolithic models to a growing library of purpose-built, plugin-based ones, used by 400 to 500+ customers.

## What they're looking for

- You will design, build and improve our plugin-based forecasting models end to end: feature engineering, testing, and iterating on performance in live customer environments
- You will take forecasting problems from business need to a working model running for a customer, with real ownership over the decisions along the way
- You will work directly across multiple customer environments, figuring out what generalizes and what needs to stay customer-specific
- You will use AI and agentic tools as a core part of how you build, pushing what they can do rather than using them passively
- You will operate with a high degree of autonomy in a distributed team, without a fixed playbook for how the work gets done
- Applied or theoretical understanding of modern forecasting and modelling methods
