## About the role

The High Performance Compute SoC Business team is seeking a Software Manager to lead an engineering team supporting the development of software solutions for ADAS, IVI, Connected Gateway, and Industrial segments. This role will focus on delivering high-quality embedded software solutions with strong emphasis on edge AI, vision analytics, video pipelines, graphics, connectivity, and AI compute acceleration on Renesas SoC platforms.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML, Robotics, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
- Strong programming skills in C and C++
- Solid understanding of embedded Linux and/or FreeRTOS
- Experience developing, deploying, or optimizing AI/ML workloads on edge devices is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with vision pipelines, camera interfaces, video processing, graphics acceleration, or multimedia subsystems
