## About the role

The Director of Accounting is a critical leadership position within the finance department, driving the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, and providing strategic financial insights to drive our business forward.

## What they're looking for

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a leadership role
- Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting knowledge, GAAP expertise, and in-depth understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606). Experience with NetSuite is required
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
