## About the role

We're looking for a Product Engineer to be the embedded technical presence for our customer-facing platform, based out of our Brooklyn office. This role is ideal for a full-stack engineer who wants ownership over both the "what" and the "how" - working directly with our customer-facing team to understand pain points, then building the fix yourself. You'll work closely with our Director of Engineering and customer-facing leadership to prioritize what gets built, and with modern, AI-enabled workflows to build it fast.

## What they're looking for

- Full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails and React in production
- Genuine, demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted engineering workflows—we'll ask you to walk us through real examples, not describe a philosophy
- Comfort owning a problem from a stakeholder conversation through to shipped code, and taking direct accountability for that full arc
- Comfort context-switching between proactive feature work and reactive support fixes without losing momentum on either
- Clear written communication—you'll be writing your own PRDs and specs
- Ability to work independently while staying coordinated with teammates in a different location and function
