- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or related experience, including significant revenue accounting and gross to net experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Deep expertise in pharmaceutical revenue accounting, gross to net accounting and forecasting, including application of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 to commercial revenue arrangements
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical GTN drivers, including rebates, chargebacks, discounts, returns, copay and patient assistance programs, government programs, distributor fees, and other forms of variable consideration
- Demonstrated experience developing and evolving GTN forecasting methodologies, analyzing forecast versus actual performance, and translating business and market dynamics into financial assumptions and recommendations
- Experience strengthening accounting processes, policies, and internal controls in a public company environment subject to SOX, SEC, and U.S. GAAP requirements
