## About the role

We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join Rover's accounting team. This individual-contributor role owns a broad, hands-on scope of our core accounting processes including month-end close, financial reporting, technical accounting, and audit management.

## What they're looking for

- This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and go-to technical resource for assigned accounting areas, researching and documenting GAAP positions for complex or non-routine transactions
- Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and policies as directed
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- BS/BA in Accounting preferred
- CPA preferred or actively in progress
