## About the role

Support Rowan's regulatory, legislative, and public policy activities across Texas, helping advance and protect the company's development and operational objectives. Assist with engagement before the Texas Legislature, Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), ERCOT, local governments, economic development organizations, and other key stakeholders.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree and 3-6 years of experience in regulatory affairs, public policy, legislative affairs, government relations, or energy markets
- Direct experience with Texas energy policy and a solid understanding of PUCT regulations, proceedings, and regulatory processes - preferred
- Direct knowledge of ERCOT market structure, stakeholder processes, working groups, and governance - preferred
- Experience monitoring stakeholder discussions and providing real-time analysis, strategic recommendations, and action plans
- Experience analyzing legislation, regulatory proposals, market design changes, and policy developments
- Experience drafting testimony, comment letters, legislative analyses, bill revisions, advocacy materials, and executive briefings
