## About the role

Support Rowan Design Managers and MEP engineering consultants in the design, permitting, and coordination of construction drawings, specifically in the mechanical, plumbing, and controls for data center cooling disciplines. Expertise is not needed in all areas, but a general knowledge of all areas from a design and construction perspective is necessary. Coordinate and ensure MEP engineering related Customer design requirements are evaluated and incorporated on a project-by-project basis.

## What they're looking for

- Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Other related fields may be considered. EIT and/or sustainable design accreditation preferred
- 3+ years of experience participating in data center (or similar complex industrial) MEP design, with preference for experience in data center critical cooling systems
- Hands-on experience with construction activities in the field with strong knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing best practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Procore, AutoDesk Forma, and Blue Beam Revu. Familiarity with CFD software such as Star-CCM or SixSigma preferred
- Knowledge of MEP design, control, communication, BMS/EMS, and construction practices and processes required
- Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines
