## About the role

We are looking for an Analyst to join our early-stage investment team in New York City. We seek a candidate who is deeply passionate and knowledgeable about technology and markets, has exceptional analytic skills, and can work collaboratively with the firm’s senior investment team, as well as RRE portfolio entrepreneurs and management teams. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of professional experience at a venture capital fund, private equity firm, investment bank, or strategy consulting firm.

## What they're looking for

- Conducting diligence on early-stage investment opportunities, a process which typically involves conducting expert interviews, building financial models, building cap table models, and writing investment memos
- Preparing presentations and research materials to support discussions with RRE’s Limited Partners
- Acting as a resource to RRE’s portfolio teams in whatever capacity they require, (pitch deck creation, cap table modeling, financial modeling, general research, introductions to later-stage investors, etc.)
- Sourcing investment opportunities by establishing relationships with other venture firms, leveraging tools like Pitchbook, and building original theses
- Supporting RREVU, RRE’s publicly-traded SPAC entity
- Consistently representing RRE at startup-related events in New York City and sometimes beyond
