DevOps engineers build, test and maintain infrastructure and tools so that software can be developed and released. DevOps (development operations) is a series of practices and processes that help organizations speed up and automate aspects of developing, testing, releasing and updating software.

## What they're looking for

- Assist in the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system software, cloud, and virtualized infrastructure (automation and pipelines are key)
- Maintain existing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/Runners) to streamline release and development processes
- Execute and update basic automation scripts (Python, Bash) for reporting, metrics, or operational tasks
