## About the role

Samsara's Core IT team builds the systems, processes, and experiences that let every team at Samsara do its best work. As a Principal Business Systems Analyst, you'll own the programs with the broadest scope and highest impact on the team. These are the ambiguous, cross-functional problems that touch multiple systems and multiple stakeholders, and that shape how Core IT operates going forward.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years of business systems analysis, strategy, or architecture experience at a large-scale organization
- A demonstrated track record advising senior leadership on complex, strategic decisions, including experience with large-scale organizational transformation or system architecture decisions
- Excellent influence skills: the ability to build trust and move decisions forward with stakeholders and teams that don't report to you, from individual contributors to executive leadership
- Strong analytical rigor and the communication skills to bring senior stakeholders along, in writing and in the room
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, concurrent programs end-to-end, with full independent judgment on how to structure and staff them
- Strong data management and analysis skills (Google Sheets/Excel, Splunk, and similar tools)
