## About the role

Saronic is looking for a Machine Shop Helper to support our machinists and fabrication team as we build the autonomous surface vessels defending America's interests at sea. In this role, you'll keep the shop running by prepping raw materials, staging tooling and fixtures, deburring and cleaning finished parts, operating basic equipment (band saws, drill presses, grinders), and keeping work areas organized and safe. Accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment

## What they're looking for

- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to stand continuously and lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior industry experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy, and apply concepts of basic math
