## About the role

Seasats is growing quickly, and we're looking for an Accounting Manager to help build the financial infrastructure needed for our next stage of growth. Reporting to the CFO, you'll own core accounting operations while helping strengthen our systems, processes, and controls as we scale, with a growth path toward Controller as the role and the company mature.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with operating company accounting, public accounting, and/or fractional or outsourced accounting roles
- Experience working for, advising, or auditing a company in the defense, aerospace, government contracting, or a closely related industry
- Experience working in an organization subject to external financial statement audits, with a strong understanding of audit preparation and supporting documentation
- Experience owning or playing a significant role in month-end close
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment where processes are still being built and responsibilities can evolve quickly
