## About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Staff Backend Engineer to architect, design, develop, optimize, and maintain Access Security features that use AI to improve access intelligence, risk detection, and remediation workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable backend services and AI-assisted workflows that can operate reliably in enterprise environments.

## What they're looking for

- Applied AI experience: Practical experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities into production workflows, such as decision support, risk analysis, automation, or security-focused access intelligence
- Experience: 10+ years in backend software development, with deep technical hands-on experience building complex Enterprise production software
- Languages & Architecture: Strong proficiency in Golang and other key programming languages (e.g., Python or Java), with a strong architectural vision
- Data and APIs: Expertise designing and implementing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs, with strong proficiency in data modeling, SQL, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and graph technologies such as Neo4j
- Systems Engineering: Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading major, cross-functional technical projects from conception to launch
