## About the role

Shift5 is the observability platform for onboard operational technology (OT). We’re a rapidly growing scale-up that specializes in cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, and compliance for operational technology (OT) systems across all defense vehicles and commercial aviation.

## What they're looking for

- Education: BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Software Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in software development with a deep understanding of software engineering practices and concepts
- Core Web Technologies: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Backend & APIs: Experience working with Go, alongside demonstrated experience with REST APIs
- Cloud, Containers & Deployment: Experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Product Experience: Prior SaaS product experience, with a track record of delivering scalable, observable, supportable, and reliable applications
