## About the role

We are looking for a SingleStore Lead Value Engineer who is passionate about customers’ goals, initiatives and objectives; and how to overcome the most difficult data challenges in the industry. In this role you will work directly with our sales teams, and solutions engineers to identify prospective and current customer pain points where SingleStore can remove those bottlenecks and deliver real-time capabilities.

## What they're looking for

- Masters in related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc), or
- 7+ years experience in a technical pre-sales role,
- Alternatively an advanced degree (e.g.: MBA),
- or 7+ years experience in value engineering or management consulting roles
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience negotiating complex deals from a value-based selling perspective
