## About the role

The Principal Test Development Engineer is the main focal point in the development of a test solution, capable of deciding the technical direction and strategy of the test design and its implementation. He is responsible for developing hardware and software solutions for SiTime’s precision timing devices. From the initial product development kickoff through end-of-life, the ATE Test Development Engineer defines ATE test hardware and software and supports the launch of new products into high-volume production. ## What they're looking for

- Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least eight years of related work experience as an individual contributor focusing on key technical areas
- Background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs, including hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne's ETS-364, ETS-88, or UltraFLEX is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience in statistical analysis of test data
- Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation, prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required
