## About the role

We are hiring a Venture Associate to represent Sixty Degree Capital on the ground in Silicon Valley. You will spend your time in the ecosystem, meeting founders, operators, investors and strategic partners, bringing back the companies and themes that warrant the investment team’s attention. You will also support the work behind those opportunities, from market mapping and company research through to the analysis that informs an investment decision.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree or above from a leading university (Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, Ivy League or equivalent preferred)
- Up to three years of professional or internship experience in venture capital, technology companies, startups, consulting, investment banking or a related field. Exceptional recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to research an unfamiliar market or company and form an independent point of view
- Exceptional written and spoken communication, with the ability to represent the firm credibly in front of founders and investors
- A natural relationship builder, with strong networking ability
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working independently. An established or emerging network in the Bay Area technology community is an advantage
