## About the role

We are seeking a Venture Capital Associate to join our San Francisco team. In this role, you will work directly with our Partners to identify, evaluate, and execute early-to-growth stage investments. You will play a critical role in the investment process, from sourcing the next unicorn to deep-dive technical due diligence.

## What they're looking for

- Investment Analysis – Prepare investment memos and present high-conviction recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Portfolio Support – Work closely with portfolio founders to support their growth, leveraging Sky9’s global network for business development, hiring, international expansion, and strategy
- Market Intelligence – Attend demo days, hackathons, and industry conferences to build a strong network among founders, angels, and other VCs
- Experience: 0-3 years of high-performance work experience in Product Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Management Consulting (preferably in technology sectors)
- Local Networks: Well-networked within the San Francisco Bay Area startup community
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field is strictly required—we are looking for candidates who can “speak the language” of technical founders
