## About the role

This is a hands-on role that will help shape SmartAsset’s brand presence and online reputation among both consumers and the RIA industry.

## What they're looking for

- 2-4 years of experience in a public-facing writing role — PR, communications, journalism, content marketing, or wealth management marketing
- Demonstrated ability to write publishable copy on a deadline, a portfolio of published or placed work
- Comfort interpreting and relaying data accurately (think: percentage versus point, median versus mean) and the discipline to check a number before it goes to a reporter
- Working fluency with spreadsheets, ability to take a raw dataset and find the story in it without hand-holding
- Familiarity with personal finance, fintech, wealth management, or financial advisory subject matter
- Ability to engage target demographics and maximize exposure on LinkedIn and X
