## About the role

As Director, Finance Systems & ERP, you will lead the engineering organization responsible for Smartsheet’s financial technology ecosystem and define the long-term technical strategy for how these platforms evolve. You will own the architecture, engineering maturity, technical health, and delivery of systems supporting core financial operations, procurement, planning, payments, billing, revenue processes, and emerging monetization models.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience across financial systems, enterprise application engineering, ERP, software engineering, systems architecture, or related technical disciplines
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams, including experience managing managers, senior engineers, architects, or other technical leaders
- Deep experience with NetSuite or comparable enterprise ERP platforms, with sufficient technical depth to lead architecture, challenge implementation decisions, and establish long-term platform strategy
- Demonstrated experience leading a major ERP implementation, reimplementation, or transformation program from architecture and design through implementation, stabilization, and ongoing evolution
- Strong understanding of financial business processes including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, billing, payments, financial planning, accounting, and revenue-related workflows
- Experience with financial platforms such as Coupa, Planful, Stripe, ZoneBilling, Metronome, Avalara, or comparable ERP, procurement, planning, payments, billing, tax, or monetization technologies
