## About the role

Smartsheet is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our growing Tax team as an Indirect Tax Senior Manager. The Senior Manager will help manage Smartsheet’s indirect tax compliance and reporting and will work with cross functional teams to ensure that we comply with applicable laws. You will report to our Vice President, Tax & International Accounting located in our Bellevue office. This role is remote eligible with a preference for Mountain or West Coast time zones.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a large corporate tax department with an emphasis on technology and SaaS preferred
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. sales & use tax along with international VAT/GST regimes
- People management experience with a record of leading, directing and coaching teams
- Hands-on experience with Avalara, NetSuite, Alteryx and Salesforce including the ability to leverage data tools to manage large volumes of data is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
