## About the role

We're looking for a Fullstack AI Engineer to build and maintain our agent platform and bring its capabilities into the product. You'll own work across backend services, APIs, agent orchestration, and customer-facing interfaces, with a strong focus on Python and platform engineering.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of software engineering experience. You've built and shipped production software, with experience owning backend services or fullstack applications
- Depth in Python and FastAPI. You've shipped and operated production Python services. You can build well-designed FastAPI APIs and understand asynchronous programming, validation, authentication, and error handling
- Strong systems fundamentals. You design clear service contracts and data models, work comfortably with PostgreSQL and Redis, and think through concurrency, transactions, idempotency, and failure recovery
- Experience turning AI into useful software. You've built AI applications or the infrastructure behind them. You can reason about tool calling, context management, agent sessions, and the boundaries between model behavior and application logic
- The ability to deliver across the stack. You're comfortable working in React, Next.js, and TypeScript and connecting an interface to backend APIs. You care about how the product feels, including usability, accessibility, and performance
- A habit of making systems understandable. You use traces, logs, and metrics to investigate production issues and build instrumentation that helps the next engineer diagnose them. Testing, security, and maintainability are part of how you ship
