## About the role

As a shipping specialist, you will be responsible for the expedient movement of designated items needed to support production, test, and launch operations. Primary functions of the shipping specialist include the packaging, manifesting, and tracking of materials as requested by internal and external customers.

- 3+ years in a shipping role
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Willingness to work all required shift hours, overtime and weekends when need to meet critical deadlines
- Able and willing to travel domestically to obtain relevant certifications and to assist in development of skill sets at other SpaceX sites as needed
