## About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Learning Experience Designer to join our Learning & Inclusion team, the group responsible for creating learning experiences that help every Spotify band member grow, belong, and do their best work.

## What they're looking for

- You have 5+ years of professional instructional design experience and a portfolio demonstrating thoughtful work across multiple learning formats
- You apply learning science principles such as cognitive load, retrieval practice, spaced learning, and adult learning theory to practical design decisions
- You know how to uncover learning and performance needs, translate them into measurable objectives, and design learning journeys that build knowledge and skills over time
- You create meaningful practice through scenarios, simulations, assessments, and other interactive experiences rather than relying on passive content
- You have strong visual and UX design judgment and understand how typography, hierarchy, layout, and visual storytelling can make learning clearer and easier to navigate
- You have experience with rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, Lectora, or similar platforms, along with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent
