## About the role

Squarespace is looking for a seasoned Director of Strategic Procurement to lead and elevate the company's Procurement function. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies to enable business goals, building and managing high-value supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across all categories of spend.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive procurement or strategic sourcing experience, including 5+ years in a Director+ level role
- Experience managing procurement in a high-growth or scaling tech company environment
- Track record managing significant technology and marketing spend portfolios
- Deep understanding of SaaS and cloud commercial models (subscription tiers, usage-based pricing, enterprise licensing agreements)
- Strong contract negotiation skills, including experience with software licensing terms, SLAs, data privacy/security clauses, and MSAs
