## About the role

SRI International (formerly Sarnoff Corporation) is looking for a Semiconductor or Chemical Safety Engineer on-site at our Princeton, NJ office . A hands-on opportunity to facilitate safety best practices and compliance at our Microcircuit Emulation Center. Through SRI's Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) program, the Microcircuit Emulation Center supplies form, fit, function, and interface replacements for obsolete microcircuits. ## What they're looking for

- Minimum 4 years’ experience performing role of safety engineer in Semiconductor or Chemical industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical reactions and understanding material behavior under various conditions (e.g., temperature effects)
- Knowledge or experience performing safety risk assessment studies
- Demonstrated analytical and systematic teamwork approach to troubleshooting
- Due to Government requirements US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required
