- Codify what lives in people's heads today into systems, playbooks, and tooling a new teammate can execute against
- Own the technology strategy for the service line, and turn operational strategy into requirements our product and engineering partners can actually build against
- Make the build-versus-buy calls such as filing platform independence, service-of-process infrastructure, automation etc
